Please consult our detailed images. For information regarding the condition of our items. It's in great shape overall with nice lithography and colors. It does have some light wear from age and light fading on the body. The mechanism still winds and works although a bit more weakly, and the boy plays the violin while the man dances up and down. The dog no longer moves though, so something is disconnected inside the box. The man also seems to sit a bit lower than he should, so his legs tend to sit in awkward positions (I propped him up by his legs in most of the pictures).
I also noticed one corner tab was missing, and one tab isn't popping out of a slot on one side of the box (not sure what those tabs are part of, could be why the dog doesn't move). It's a rare piece from the 1920's and this toy doesn't pop up for sale often. With some light repairs, it could be even nicer. Either way, it's a great looking piece.
