The dog house is made of cardboard, and is complete. It has minor wear from old age, but is remarkably well conserved given the age. The dog, Sandy, is complete and with very little wear, and the colors are bright and vivid. The mechanism is activated by the tail being pushed down, which winds the spring and spins the wheels. The only note to make is that the wheels are both somewhat loose, and can be slipped off the axle. The axles were crimped to hold the wheels in place with friction only, but with time the holes in the wheels wore enough to enable them to slip off. Given that this toy will not really be played with, it doesn't really affect the display at all.
