Vintage Metal Tin Marx Babyland Nursery Dollhouse and Accessories
Extremely hard to find Marx Babyland Nursery Tin Doll House with most/majority of the original furnishings and fixtures included! The Nursery is in excellent condition with no rust or dents.
One minor scratch on the roof. Building pieces were assembled once and never disassembled. Tabs are all in excellent condition. The original mylar windows are still in place but become somewhat brittle (See last 3 photos). I'm sure they could be replaced easily.The original plastic fixtures/furnishings have yellowed with age but are in otherwise nice condition. Furnishings/Fixtures include 3 cribs, 2 babies, 1 standing vanity/sink combo, 1 play-table/chair combo, 1 incubation crib with oxygen tank, 1 dresser, 1 chair, 1 table and 1 baby bathing pan. I know there used to be a couple of additional fixtures (a nurses desk and something that looked like a plastic hospital style privacy curtain) but they are now missing. A couple more plastic babiesI think my brother had something to do with their disappearance. Lastly, the nurse has been missing for a long time.
Rumor has it that she ran away with a toy soldier returning from war (rumor could not be confirmed). Overall, the Nursery and accessories are in really nice condition (a lot nicer than most of the other doll houses I see listed). Thanks for looking and happy treasure hunting!
