However, the toy works great as you can see in our video. Switch on back is a "off" "on" switch. Put in top position, wind him about 4 or 5 times to prevent overwinding, lower the switch to the bottom position and watch him walk! Overall would rate this toy in good cosmetic condition considering its from the 1960's.
