Marx Vintage Pre-War CP Freight Set 3000 Engine with6 cars including a dump truck

Pressed Steel 0-4-0 CP Canadian Pacific Locomotive. Canadian Pacific Tender, 5 cars. Flat car w/red & blue dump truck. Black & gray w/maroon stripe.

Pressed steel powered steam engine. The engine wheels move, though stiffly - needs a cleaning.

The engine motor hums, sputters, and sounds like it is trying to run (see video). The motor needs some tender loving care. My father has had this in his collection for a long time, so the motor has not been activated in a good number of years. Variations on this version of a Canadian Pacific Engine. Black & gray engine body, black cab; black chrome side panels with maroon stripe bordered in gold; Canadian Pacific decal; black Cow Catcher, black Sand Dome; black Stack with Red Plastic Insert; external running light frames; Straight handrails.

8.25"L x 3"h x 2.25w. 6"L x 3.25"h x 1.75w. 5.5"L x 2.5"h x 1.75w.

Clip to hold a truck load. Red truck w/blue dump bed. Silver front grate & wooden wheels. 5.75"L x 1.5"h x 1.75w. Three side-bars, one w/clamp & spring tie-down. Fifteen round logs (do not know if they are original).

5.75"L x 2.5"h x 1.75w. Orange cab with black roof. Black base 5.75 length.

7.5"L x 4"h x 1.75w. 6"L x 3"h x 1.75w. The set is in good condition for its age.

Overall, there is play wear, scuffs, scratches, paint aging, and rust/corrosion.
