Vintage 1930's Marx POPEYE EXPRESS Wind-UP Tin Litho w/ Stationary PARROT with BOX. Another great toy offered from the "PA TOYS OF TIMES PAST" collection.

One of the famous cartoon characters ever just behind the leader, Mickey Mouse. This toy is in 100% working condition with the fixed position parrot who is hidden within the wheel barrow and POPEYE walks when wound up and set on a hard surface. The colors are quite excellent with Popeyes red shoulders showing very little fading, as most have done over the years. In fact, this lithography is one of the finest I've seen in awhile. With very very little scratches mainly on the cart.

This sale will include the top quality reproduction box shown here. The one end flap has a small tear on it as shown in the photo. Wrapped in tissue paper then again in bubble wrap. After that is done, it getting suspended within packing peanuts in order for it to arrive safely. Probably the best one you will see available at this time. I try to include a variety of brightly lit, clearly focused pictures from multiple angles in my listings. The pictures are a key part of the description. As a supplement to the pictures I also provide a reasonably detailed written description that discloses what I see, what I know and what I think.
