Vintage 1939 Disney Tin Windup Pinocchio Walking Figure Louis Marx Works

For sale is a fantastic vintage genuine 1939 Disney tin windup Pinocchio walking figure, made by Louis Marx. This mechanical walking figure is approximately 8 3/4 tall. Xcellent example of this early windup toy produced under license with Walt Disney by the Louis Marx company in 1939 to coincide with the opening of the feature length animated movie "Pinocchio". His face features a long tin nose and blue eyes that move. He windup motor, and it works! When we wound it and placed on a smooth surface, Pinocchio leaned from side to side as his blue eyes move up and down! He's been stored for many years, so he was a little slow, but he did work! This toy is in great unrestored condition - it has been in storage for more than 40 years, so it could stand for a good cleaning. There is some minor scuffing here and there, but no rust we can detect. He tin nose on many of these toys is missing, but it is intact here!

Overall the colors are bright, and it's a great piece! Please take a careful look at the pictures for complete condition. This rare vintage piece would make a great addition to a collection of early tin mechanical comic toys or as an accent to a display of vintage Pinocchio or Disney memorabilia.
