Vintage Marx E12 Toy Tin Litho Wind Up Tank Military Army Camo A21. Condition: Complete, unaltered and arguably without any negative issues or damage. EARLY (made in the 1930s up to 1940) E12 version with two toned brown non-camouflaged wheels (later versions were two toned camouflaged) and unpainted barrel.

This original would later become the precursor to a long line of Marx E12 thru A21 toy tanks and makes this particular example RARE among all others. This pristine example of a depression era wind up toy does show minor wear but overall looks to have been gently used, if played with at all. TESTED: Key turns freely, all four (4) wheels spin freely however the switch on top doesnt hold the crank. Theres a piece of vintage white friction tape on the top rear corner that identifies this toy as once belonging to a child named Charles that I did not attempt to remove but Im sure would come off easily if you choose to remove it. This fantastic piece of Americana measures 10 long, 5.5 wide and 4.5 tall. You wont be disappointed and itd be hard to upgrade on this 91 year old treasure.
