Vintage Tin LineMar Battery Operated Hungry Cat 1960s Japan, 9 Tall. The cats fur is in good shape, has a few stains, the tin paint is nice on both pieces and the plastic bowl is in good shape. It has the original bottom pan and 2 original fish.

When tested, the cats eyes light up green, the propeller in the fish bowl does not spin. His head and arms do not move currently, and no sound is made. The toy has a clean battery compartment and rough original box. This toy will need to be repaired if trying to make all functions work. As of now only the eyes light up.

Please view all pictures for a detailed description. The Box is in rough shape. The bottom half of the box is in much better shape, sadly no graphic on that part though. I will be very careful when packing.

Mechanisms can be delicate after 50 - 60 years and wires can become brittle and are prone to breaking. We try to describe items the best we can, were not perfect.

Should that occur giving it a shake or tap should resume functionality, also use New Alkaline Batteries for best performance with the toys that smoke, and regular Heavy Duty non Alk. Also please clean battery contacts with a small file or rough piece of sand paper.
