Vintage Working Louis Marx & Co. Caterpillar Tin Lithograph wind-up Toy Giant Climbing Tractor. No fading, with brilliant colors.

There are a few small scratches from age and play use. The rubber tracks are in good overall condition for the age with the exception of a poor repair job to one of the tracks. Someone more skilled than I could possibly vulcanize the track to a better condition if desired.

The tractor winds up and travels in a forward motion. The stop lever functions as designed. The red plastic exhaust pipe moves to simulate a diesel exhaust as the tractor moves in a forward motion. The original operator is missing from the cockpit/seat area.

The four wheels where the rubber tracks are attached are made of metal (not plastic). The size of this vintage toy is approximately 5 1/4" wide x 9 1/2" long x 4 3/4 tall and weighs almost 2 lbs.
